Accessibility Information

LifeWorks Mentoring is committed to ending discrimination against differently abled people in the LGBTQ community and beyond. We strive to remove the physical and cultural barriers that prevent the full inclusion of people of all abilities in our communities. If you have any questions or concerns about the accessibility of our office or our events please don't hesitate to call us at 310-724-6300, or email Dan the Program Manager at ddumont@lifeworksmentoring.org

Our current office location is mostly accessible - here are some things that differently abled people might like to know before visiting us. Most of this is what you can expect from an average older building.

- The bathroom stalls are quite small, and there are no grab bars.

- The elevator has occasional bad days. It's almost always working, but we're on the third floor, so you may want to call first just to make sure.

- The ramp from the sidewalk to the front door is a bit steep.

- The front door of the building is somewhat difficult to pull open. It's usually propped open, however during evening events it gets shut sometimes.

- We do not have a free parking lot, so visitors usually park at parking meters along Melrose Ave. These meters are free after 6pm and there are usually several available nearby.

We are happy to provide any assistance or accomodations possible that will make our events more welcoming. If there are other things you would like to know, or things you think should be posted on this page, please contact us.

Thank you for your interest in LifeWorks Mentoring!
